October’s TBR!

A Little Life is definitely going to take me some time to finish, and I am also trying to get through an ebook so September’s TBR is slowing me down

HOWEVER, after careful consideration of your suggestions I have picked some spooky halloween reads for this month!

The Shining by Stephen King – I have been dying to read this book, but I wanted to save it for October!

Frankenstein by Mary Shelley – I am a little embarrassed to say I have never read this yet, but it fits right into my Halloween theme!

The Shack by William Paul Young – I have chosen this read for now (mostly because I need to finish it so my mom can have it), but it doesn’t exactly fit with my theme so I may change my mind when I get around to it.

Because I still have some September reads to clue up I have chosen only three books besides for my TBR – hopefully I get to read more.

Have you read any of these?

My Favorite Month is Here!

Today’s Me, Myself, and Monday post is going to be short and sweet because I have a midterm tomorrow – and guess who hasn’t studied yet!

October is my absolute favorite month! I get to wear my long socks and sweaters while getting in the spirit of Halloween.

I find this type of year everything feels different and I spend the autumn season getting more in touch with myself.

Autumn is my favorite, however it does not last long in Newfoundland – winter may come at any second. I am going to enjoy it while it lasts!

I am starting off my favorite month with this read (and this outfit)

June’s To Be Read List

I have a few books I would like to get through during June (I think I can, I think I can)

On this list is …

Carrie by Stephen King – This will be my first Stephen King and horror read, I am so excited.

The Happiness Project by Gretchen Rubin – I have already started this book, I am going to aim to finish it this month so I can start back on Tools of Titans! Need all the self help I can get.

Hunting Humans by Elliot Leyton – This book is for school, however it is definitely going to be an interesting read since it revolves around serial killers.

A Man Called Ove by Fredrik Backman – I have been waiting to read this book F O R E V E R.

A Monster Calls by Patrick Ness – This book is all over my social media feeds, safe to say that I am intrigued.

*Not pictured: The Great Gatsby by F. Scott Fitzgerald- I am currently reading this on my kobo, I use this most at the gym. It is about time I read this classic.

Any suggestions for July?
